Therapy for deeply feeling women who’ve lost themselves in achieving, caretaking, and holding it all together

Online Therapy for New York State Residents

Areas of Focus

Anxiety & Overwhelm

You look like you're handling it. Inside, you never quite stop bracing. For the woman whose mind never fully clocks out.

Perfectionism

However well you do, the voice inside says it wasn't enough. For the woman who can't let herself off the hook.

People-pleasing

You can be close to everyone — and a stranger to yourself. For the woman who's forgotten how to take up space.

How I work

I believe that when personal exploration is encouraged and supported, we can decide who we are and how we want to live our lives.

I'd describe my approach as engaging, down-to-earth, pragmatic and rooted in person-centered and psychodynamic perspectives.

I integrate interventions thoughtfully, depending on what each person needs and draw on evidence-based modalities including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR),

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI), and

  • Parts work & Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I also use creative arts therapy and weave in music, image, and metaphor alongside talk therapy — because for a lot of deeply feeling people, the most important things live below language, where words can't always reach.

I bring a deep respect for the complexity of each person's story, and I practice cultural humility — a lifelong commitment to understanding my own and my clients' cultural identities.

Through our work together, you'll gain self-understanding and learn to move through difficult emotions, self-doubt, and long-held beliefs — so you can live with more confidence, ease, and clarity.
